In 1998, Merle Sepel, owner and Director of Academy of Dance, was granted non-profit status for her performing group creating
the American Pacific Ballet Company. The goal of APBC is to provide students with the experience of being in a professional
ballet company as well as offering performing opportunities, and scholarships. 2007 marks the 10th anniversary of our Nutcracker
production.
